Job Description: Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Account Director to join their Lifestyle Public Relations team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in managing high-profile accounts, developing strategic PR campaigns, and nurturing client relationships. This hybrid role requires a blend of in-office presence and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week onsite at their NYC headquarters. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple lifestyle PR accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, results-driven campaigns. Develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with clients' business objectives and enhance their brand visibility. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Provide strategic counsel to clients on media relations, crisis communications, and brand messaging. Oversee and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging media opportunities to inform and adjust PR strategies. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and insights to clients, demonstrating the impact and value of PR activities. Contribute to business development efforts, including pitching new business and expanding existing client relationships. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 6+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on lifestyle brands. Proven experience in managing high-profile accounts and leading successful PR campaigns. Strong media relations skills with an established network of lifestyle media contacts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitch stories effectively. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
