We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about aesthetics and eager to work in a friendly, supportive setting. At Vivaz, you’ll have the opportunity to be a support system for the nurse practitioners while they help patients enhance their appearance and well-being with our proven skin rejuvenation, anti-aging, and skincare treatments.
The role of an Aesthetic Nurse differs from traditional nursing positions. In this position, you'll focus on assisting with patient communication, preparing treatment rooms, and supporting the sale and marketing of retail products. You'll work closely with our nurse practitioners but won't be directly involved in administering patient treatments.
Job Summary
The Aesthetic Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients related to cosmetic services provided. Responsible for functioning in a proactive, self-accountability environment and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor at all times. The Aesthetic Nurse will be responsible for patient care as it relates to cosmetic services and the sale/marketing of retail products, supporting quality outcomes. Superior interpersonal, sales, and communication skills, strong attention to detail and a passion for providing outstanding patient-centered care as well as a growth mindset is required. Provides consultation to patients on cosmetic options, procedures and products. Performs some cosmetic procedures per provider direction. Follows treatment protocols and provides patient care. Works closely with other clinical staff to cross-sell treatments and products. Markets services and builds clientele.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Aesthetics experience highly preferred. Sales and marketing experience preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
