Role Overview The Area Director of Revenue is responsible for identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities for assigned hotels. This role provides leadership and support to property teams to optimize revenue (RevPAR and RevPAR Index), profit, and market share through effective revenue management strategies including inventory management, pricing, demand projections, and forecasting. The position involves data analysis, development of revenue strategies for different market segments, and ensuring alignment with SOPs, strategic plans, and annual goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree in business statistics, revenue management, or hospitality with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and understanding of hotel operations and yield management. Knowledge of PMS systems, industry reports, and online travel platforms is preferred. Ability to analyze financial data, think critically, and communicate effectively. Strong organizational skills and a service-oriented attitude. Responsibilities Manage yield controls and collaborate with GMs and DOS to maximize revenue across channels. Coordinate with sales and marketing for group bookings and space utilization. Manage relationships with third-party channels and analyze ROI on marketing efforts. Facilitate meetings, manage revenue systems, and analyze reports to support decision-making. Develop pricing strategies, monitor market trends, and support forecasting and budgeting processes. Provide training and support on revenue management principles and systems.
