We are seeking reliable and experienced Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. These armed security officers will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Full time and part time positions available. The pay range for this position is $18-$25/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications :

• Strong candidates will have their Virginia Armed DCJS License (Training is available if other requirements are met)
• Highly preferred 2 years of armed security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience
• Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• First Aid and CPR/AED certified

  • Mon-Fri 7:30a-5:30p and Sat 7:30a-1:30p

  • Mon-Sun, 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a
