About the Company
A privately owned commercial real estate firm is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support its Southeast portfolio. The company manages a diverse mix of commercial assets and is focused on delivering high-quality property operations and tenant service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant relations at both the property and corporate levels; manage and respond to property-related inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional tenant service by addressing requests and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, as applicable, and support daily operations.
- Assist with preparation of annual operating budgets.
- Process rental payments, apply late fees, record collections, and prepare bank deposits.
- Review, code, and approve property invoices; ensure accuracy and timely accounts payable processing.
- Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies.
- Verify and maintain required vendor documentation, ensuring compliance and proper filing.
- Conduct and document monthly property inspections.
- Oversee and monitor the maintenance work-order system.
- Draft correspondence related to property operations and tenant matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of commercial real estate property management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
