The Wapello County Attorney’s Office is now accepting applications for an Assistant Wapello County Attorney. This position will be responsible for prosecuting domestic, sexual, and child abuse cases in Wapello County. This position is a qualifying position for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program. IPERS

Annual Iowa Bar Association and National District Attorney Association (NDAA) dues paid. Iowa County Attorney Association conference costs, along with any NDAA conferences, paid. Salary to begin at $70,000 for recent law school graduates. Applicants with more experience may receive a higher salary offer, depending on level of experience. The position requires a valid license to practice law in the State of Iowa as well as a valid driver’s license.
