Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Claims Specialist II to join our vehicle operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving customer concerns related to vehicle purchases by researching claims, assessing repair costs, and negotiating adjustments.

What Youll Do

  • Review customer claims to verify compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Investigate complex cases involving potential fraud, mechanical issues, or history claims.
  • Collaborate with various departments during investigation and fact-finding.
  • Utilize resources to facilitate inspections, documentation, and communication.
  • Apply financial approval authority to resolve cases.
  • Evaluate claims using various information sources.
  • Communicate resolutions via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Mediate disputes and negotiate repairs or pricing to reach mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Escalate cases as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are

You are precise and detail-oriented. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in claims management or related fields. The ability to adapt to changing environments and strong organizational skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of automotive, mechanical, or body shop experience.
