Solution Architect - Virginia Beach, VA (Hybrid)


We are seeking a passionate candidate who loves to solve complex challenges through innovative and out-of-the-box solutions. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, organized, and possesses strong project management and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

• Understand and evaluate the current technology landscape at regional and corporate levels
• Design and document the proposed architecture
• Evaluate, propose, and implement solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring security, compliance, performance, and scalability
• Provide technical guidance to development teams
• Collaborate with home office and other regional teams to ensure solutions are designed and implemented within corporate guidelines
• Design solutions within the project constraints of technology, cost, quality, time, resources, and scope
• Define and ensure best practices are implemented
• Create prototypes of proposed solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in designing high availability and robust solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in DevOps
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience in both waterfall and agile development and project management environments
• In-depth understanding of technologies and tools such as .NET, ReactJS, EKS, AWS Lambda, Secret Manager, CloudWatch, Kong, MuleSoft, API Gateway, Caching, Git, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) - both standalone and RDS
