Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team at Basquia Bakery. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating a variety of baked goods, particularly gluten-free products, and will be enthusiastic about contributing to a team that values quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Bake Goods: Produce a range of pastries, breads, and cakes, with an emphasis on gluten-free items made from rice flour.
• Recipe Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new and innovative gluten-free recipes that align with our brand's standards and customer preferences.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet Basquia Bakery's quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Uphold strict hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain baking equipment, reporting any issues to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker, with a strong portfolio of gluten-free baking preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and the science behind gluten-free baking.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
