VALiNTRY is seeking a Bankling Trading / Corporate Operations Assistant for a position in Manhattan, NY Pay Range $33.00 to $37.00 per hour on a W2 with Bouns eligibility , This position can compensate more depending on additional skills set that can be more valuable to the enterprise, don't hesitate to apply if you're a strong technical fit for this position. Position Summary: Responsible for executing a range of administrative, reconciliation, and client service functions. This includes maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and leveraging both software programs and specialized operational systems to ensure seamless trade support and fund operations. Key Responsibilities: Confirm daily trades and resolve any discrepancies with counterparties; verify all trade details through multiple sources to ensure accurate and timely settlement. Perform daily futures variation margin verification, including exposure analysis and communication with counterparties. Reconcile cash balances between internal accounting systems and custodian banks. Input daily rates, benchmarks, and prices into the accounting system. Monitor daily and monthly fund performance reports for accuracy and investigate any irregularities. Reconcile positions and market values between internal systems and custodian banks; follow up on and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and process proxy votes, corporate actions, and class action notices on behalf of the front office. Generate and distribute internal notices and reports to relevant stakeholders. Compile and deliver reports to counterparties and clients as needed. Participate in special projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Head. Provide system support for all Operations Team requirements. Maintain communication with Japanese affiliates and counterparts. Perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field-or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years of experience in asset management (buy-side) or equivalent sell-side experience in trade confirmations, settlements, and collateral operations. Solid understanding of domestic and global Fixed Income instruments; familiarity with Equities is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience working with custodian bank portals and CTM (Central Trade Manager) for trade matching and settlement. Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Eagle Investment Systems) and order management systems (e.g., Bloomberg AIM). Willingness and availability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime as needed. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment; able to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet tight deadlines. Understanding of fund guidelines is a plus.
