About the Role:

In this role, the Brand Designer will sit on the Brand Marketing team and play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the visual identity of 7 Leaves Cafe. This individual will be responsible for creating innovative designs that align with our brand aesthetic, ensuring consistency and quality across all product lines and marketing materials. Creativity and technical expertise will play a crucial role in developing new products, enhancing our packaging, and ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. This role will bring new ideas to life and maintain our commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (Exempt)

Location: Huntington Beach, CA (Onsite)

Job Responsibilities:

In the Brand Designer role, you will have an opportunity to serve our team by:

• Conceptualize and design products and materials that align with the 7 Leaves Cafe brand aesthetic.
• Manage the entire design development process from initial concept to final product, including in-store displays and point of purchase (POP) materials.
• Support the social team to create compelling mobile and social media brand artwork that resonates with our target audience.
• Design advertisements and other marketing materials to promote our brand and products.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints.
• Oversee brand guideline development and manage conceptual design projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and production, to bring new ideas to life.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs to balance business needs versus creative constraints.
• Build and maintain relationships with challenging stakeholders, navigating highly ambiguous situations and identifying solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Utilize project management tools to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ensure meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of design experience, ideally with retail product design, in-store displays, or marketing materials.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design software.
• Ability to create compelling designs from concept to final product.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for design and a deep understanding of branding principles.
• Experience with brand design, marketing, and content production timelines and processes.
• Proven ability to manage conceptual design projects and develop brand guidelines.
• Strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and relationship building.
• Knowledge and proficiency with project management tools.
