Job Title: Procurement Agent

Location: Rosemead, CA

Pay rate: $24-$28 per hour, on W2

Duration: 12+ Months with the possibility of extension

Summary:

This role involves managing procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, contract administration, and order processing, to support business needs efficiently. The position requires negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and legal standards, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The selected candidate will work for a largest subsidiary of Edison International, the primary electric utility company, contributing to cost-effective and risk-managed supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess potential suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and reputation.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Create, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and legal validity.
• Prepare and maintain procurement reports and records.

Qualifications :

• Negotiation Skills, Communication, Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail.
• Technical proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• SAP/Ariba experience.
• Problem solving, risk management, adaptability.
