Equity Research Analyst - U.S. Industrials | Multi-Manager Hedge Fund | Flexible Location

Our client, a leading multi-manager equity hedge fund, is seeking a driven and intellectually curious Equity Research Analyst to join a seasoned Portfolio Manager with a strong track record. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing pod with future potential for risk-taking responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep fundamental research across the U.S. Industrials sector, with a focus on Transports, Machinery, Electrical Equipment, Multi-Industry, and SMID-cap names
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses
• Generate actionable long/short investment ideas and present to the Portfolio Manager
• Collaborate closely within a tight-knit team to drive alpha generation

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of buyside equity research experience covering U.S. Industrials
• Strong modeling skills and a data-driven approach to idea generation
• Demonstrated hunger, intellectual rigor, and a track record of excellence
• Background from a top-tier institution or firm preferred
• Coverage in Transports, Machinery, Electrical, Multi-Industry, or SMID-cap sectors is highly desirable
