Diamond Materials is seeking dependable, experienced and hard-working individuals to join our team. Our hiring needs include

CDL Licensed Drivers near South Plainfield, NJ

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of all State and Federal DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Knowledge and skill operating Class B CDL vehicles.
• Interact with construction general laborers and/or crew members to complete the construction project.
• Clean and maintain truck as scheduled and/or required.
• Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
• Must be able to work overtime & weekends when Necessary (especially during peak Season)

Requirements :

• Ability to maintain detailed maintenance and safety records.
• CDL Class B with applicable endorsements.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Pass initials and random drug screenings.
• Minimum 2 years of Commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of truck and equipment safety, including maintenance and storage requirements.
• Responsible for all DOT required paperwork, drivers logs, etc.
• Responsible for Pre & Post trip inspections.
