CDL Licensed Drivers near South Plainfield, NJ

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledge of all State and Federal DOT rules and regulations.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Knowledge and skill operating Class B CDL vehicles.
Interact with construction general laborers and/or crew members to complete the construction project.
Clean and maintain truck as scheduled and/or required.
Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
Must be able to work overtime & weekends when Necessary (especially during peak Season)

Requirements :

Ability to maintain detailed maintenance and safety records.
CDL Class B with applicable endorsements.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
Pass initials and random drug screenings.
Minimum 2 years of Commercial driving experience.
Knowledge of truck and equipment safety, including maintenance and storage requirements.
Responsible for all DOT required paperwork, drivers logs, etc.
Responsible for Pre & Post trip inspections.
