Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Travel Assignment
Location: Falmouth, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Max Pay: $34/hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a travel assignment. The CNA will assist nursing staff by providing essential patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for all patients in accordance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
Take and accurately record vital signs
Respond promptly to patient call lights
Assist with transfers, wheelchair mobility, and repositioning of bedridden patients
Provide oral care, nail care, catheter care, and personal hygiene support
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Maintain clean patient rooms and change bed linens
Sterilize equipment and supplies following proper procedures
Prepare and deliver food trays; assist with feeding and document intake/output
Transport patients as needed
Maintain unit cleanliness and proper disposal of waste
Uphold confidentiality of patient information and respect resident rights
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum education: 10th grade
Valid CNA license in Massachusetts
Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age-related needs of patients
Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
Ability to make independent decisions when required
Professional, patient, and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and apply new nursing methods
Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and meet job-related sensory and physical requirements
