Job Title : Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Location : On-Site in Amarillo
Salary : $130k-$160k DOE (Bonus, PTO, Insurance, Retirement Plan, AWESOME Culture)
Requirements : 10+ years of Accounting and Tax Experience. Must have CPA or CPA in progress

 

Based in Amarillo, TX, we're a family-owned, fast-growing utility contractor serving the telecom industry. Over the past seven years, we've expanded from just 5 team members to a tight-knit crew of 80, with annual revenues surpassing $60M. Right now, we're looking for a hands-on CFO to lead our small accounting team, take charge of financial oversight, and drive budgeting and planning to support our next phase of growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and investment planning
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
- Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial data to guide operational and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize cost efficiency
- Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities
- Present financial insights to the CEO and stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of Accounting and Financial experience
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Compensation + Benefits:
- Salary of $130k-160k + biannual bonuses.
