About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the organization's financial, accounting, and operational management, with a focus on leading and mentoring remote teams. Key responsibilities for the CFO include financial oversight and reporting, operational efficiency, and the development and implementation of growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the industry and its supply chain dynamics, experience in capital fundraising, and a proven track record in team development. They should be a hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, capable of balancing strategic leadership with operational execution, and passionate about fostering a collaborative, growth-focused culture. The successful CFO will be expected to partner with the CEO to build and execute the growth strategy, hire and develop a team, and guide the implementation of an ERP system. They will also be responsible for managing all financial and accounting procedures, overseeing balance sheet management, and ensuring a healthy operating cash position. The role requires a quick thinker who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The CFO will be instrumental in driving business improvement initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful adoption of new systems and processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams and stakeholders are essential for this position.
