Job Description:
We are seeking two experienced Cisco ACI Consultants to support a high-impact Data Center migration project involving Software Defined Networking (SDN) .
The consultants will play a critical role in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco ACI fabric solutions as part of the overall migration strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Cisco ACI-based network design and deployment efforts within the data center migration initiative.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and security teams to define SDN strategies and align Cisco ACI configurations with business requirements.
- Assess existing infrastructure, identify gaps, and define migration paths to the ACI fabric.
- Configure and manage ACI components : APIC, leaf/spine switches, policies, tenants, bridge domains, contracts, and endpoint groups (EPGs).
- Troubleshoot complex ACI issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including high-level and low-level designs, runbooks, and migration plans.
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal teams post-deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in networking with at least 3+ years in Cisco ACI environments .
- Deep understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) principles and ACI architecture.
- Proven experience with Data Center migration projects involving Cisco ACI.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (9k series), APIC controllers , and related ACI components.
- Proficiency in network protocols , routing/switching, and L2/L3 configurations in a data center environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment and engage onsite with cross-functional teams in San Jose .
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
