Must perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment used, notating any defects.
Transport freight and related materials by commercial vehicle on a local P&D route, with some-touch freight.
Report departures, delays, arrivals, and POD information.
Deliver and pick-up freight as assigned/dispatched, in a safe and timely manner.
Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and CFR regulations and requirements.
Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
Must promote a commitment to safety and security at all times.
Complete and certify accurate driver logs.
Handles freight loading/unloading as required.
Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or manager.
