Job Title: Class A Local Driver
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Local Driver to join our team. This position will involve transporting goods to and from various locations within a set radius from our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport goods to and from various locations in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy in loading and unloading of goods
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
- Comply with all state and federal transportation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
