PAY, BENEFITS, AND SCHEDULE
You earn $18.00/hour while working as a Cleaner and $17.25/hour plus tips when working as a Barista.
Your schedule varies depending on the day and event, but you typically work in the late afternoon or evening from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM . For December only: shifts may range from 5:00 pm – 12:00 midnight or 7:00 pm – 12:00 midnight.

YOUR ROLE
You start your day by making our espresso truck shine bright. Armed with your trusty cleaning supplies, you ensure every nook and cranny sparkles with perfection. From wiping down surfaces to restocking supplies, you set our truck up for a successful day.
When our espresso machine needs an extra pair of hands, you step up and serve as a barista. When everything's done, you turn off equipment, clean out the truck, and get it ready for the next day.
ABOUT US
Carmen's Gypsy Coffee Bar is Long Beach's original espresso truck offering an on-location, full-service espresso and tea bar, vegan and gluten-free pastries, Spanish pressed paninis, breakfast quiche, house nitro cold brew, and much more! Carmen is a namesake and was the owner, Elisa Bertone's mother, who is from a very large family of 11 brothers and sisters. All of the siblings were Flamenco entertainers on stage from a very young age. Elisa's family is from the caves of Andalusia Spain and her uncle, Rene Heredia, is still very prominent in the genre. Elisa's first cousin, Andreana, still has dance troupes all over Colorado to this day!
