This role provides direct care to inpatients and their families on an acute 12 bed medical-psychiatric unit based in our Waltham location

This Inpatient Psychiatry Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

• Providing direct care to inpatients and their families on an acute 12 bed medical-psychiatric unit.
• Providing individual and family therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
• Making behavioral health referrals to specialty providers.

To qualify, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required
• Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with children in an acute psychiatric setting preferred
