Authorized C3PAO - KLC Consulting seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) to join our growing CMMC Assessment team. As an integral part of our assessment team, you will work closely with our industry-leading CISO and Director of Cybersecurity Services, and CCAs to deliver CMMC Level 2 certification assessments and provide expert consulting to diverse clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a CCA to gain valuable experience and advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

 

CCA Responsibilities:

• Conduct CMMC Level 2 assessments (remotely with occasional onsite)
• Provide expert cybersecurity consulting to clients, including gap remediation and documentation (for consulting clients).
• Contribute to compliance research and technical analysis.
• Support our marketing team with your cybersecurity knowledge.
• Assist in developing and improving internal processes and tools.
• Assist in managing client engagement, from proposal development to report delivery
• Work remotely with some travel for onsite assessments

 

Qualifications:

• Active CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) and Certified Assessor (CCA) certifications.
• At least one active cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CASP+, Security+, or CySA+.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 1+ year of assessment/auditing experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and professional writing skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25-35%.
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• U.S. Citizenship.

 

CCA Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 7012, and/or other cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Technical experience in implementing security controls.
• Military or Federal cybersecurity background.
