Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $24 - $27 per hour

What's the Job?

• Program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.
• Utilize Mastercam or Conversational programs for programming tasks.
• Work primarily with steel to ensure high-quality production.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• One year of programming experience with Mastercam or Conversational programs.
• Ability to program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.
• Experience working with steel is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo a drug screen (oral screen acceptable).
• No prior experience is required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
