CH-47F Flight Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing duties as a flight engineer on the CH-47 and associated simulation device(s). Will conduct CH-47, continuation training, and evaluation of non-rated crewmembers per approved instruction programs. Conducted academic instruction and hands-on proficiency-based training and administered evaluations to ensure non-rated crewmember proficiency and standardization of training.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have been previously designated as a flight engineer (FE) in the CH-47F
- 5+ years experience as a non-rated crewmember in the CH-47
- Minimum of 500 total flight hours in mission/design required.
- Instructor experience at a USAACE-approved school of instruction preferred.
- Possess a minimum of SECRET clearance.
Required Skills
- Must possess and maintain an FAA Class III flight physical or Class 3 flight physical
- Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics
- Ability to communicate both orally and written in English
- Ability to effectively work in coordination with staff and team members
- Ability to communicate with the customer, on the company's behalf, with professionalism
