• Responsible for managing Cost Accounting, Pricing, Daily Production Recap, and related operational analysis and accounting functions.
\n
• Manage cost accounting staff.
\n
• Oversee and ensure accurate daily completion of cost sheets, cost plus pricing, and daily recap report.
\n
• Complete various monthly reports, analyses, and graphs.
\n
• Provide financial and cost analysis with an emphasis on accurate product costing, inventory valuation, pricing decisions, and supporting contract negotiations.
\n
• Develop, maintain, improve, and audit cost accounting related processes and internal controls.
\n
• Partner with all departments to provide cross-functional support and leadership to improve cost control and accuracy.
\n
• Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term objectives and policies.
\n
• Provide needed information for the annual external audit.
\n
• Other duties assigned by Manager.
\n

\n
• Cost accounting background with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related job experience.
\n
• 5 years or more of related experience required.
\n
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
\n
