Successfully operate waterside cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore. Maintain and repair the cranes as trained and instructed. - Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer cargo from vessel to shore. - Effectively coordinate with vessel personnel, complete required documentation and reports related to cargo transfer. - Participate as trained and instructed in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of cranes, gear and related equipment. - May be assigned to general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals. - Refresher training in maintenance, operations, safety and environmental as required. - Housekeeping and general maintenance as required. - Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor.
Experience operating a friction/cable/hydraulic crane in a production environment is highly preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet Demonstrated aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records Must have the ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules. Must be willing to work overtime,weekends,nights and some Holidays as needed.
