Delivery Driver/Shipping and Receiving - Part Time

Location: Harley-Davidson – Shallotte, NC

Our family of Harley-Davidson dealerships is accepting applications for a qualified "On-Demand Driver" to serve our locations in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This position offers flexible hours and reasonable drive times. Applicants must be safe, experienced, and possess a strong work ethic.

Position Summary: OTR Driver

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with bikes scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers bikes to dealerships
• Assists with unloading the bikes and obtaining proof of delivery.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• As Needed Availability

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Occasional Overnight Deliveries. 
• Valid driver’s license including a motorcycle endorsement and acceptable MVR.
• Must be 21 years old+
• Must have at least 6 months of OTR truck driving experience.
• Class A CDL preferred
• Motorcycle Endorsement
• Acceptable background check.
