Green Mattress Recycling is dedicated to providing an eco-friendly solution for mattress disposal by responsibly recycling old mattresses, reducing waste, and supporting sustainable practices. We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team and help us deliver these services to communities and businesses while maintaining our commitment to the environment.
As a Delivery Truck Driver at Green Mattress Recycling, you will be responsible for transporting mattresses and other recyclable materials to our recycling facility or designated locations. You will ensure all deliveries and pickups are done safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Transporting Goods : Safely operate company vehicles (box truck, flatbed, etc.) to transport mattresses and recyclable materials to the designated locations.
Loading and Unloading : Assist in the loading and unloading of mattresses and recycling materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety standards.
Customer Interaction : Provide friendly, professional, and prompt customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Route Management : Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely and safe deliveries and pickups.
Vehicle Maintenance : Perform routine checks on your truck to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues to management.
Experience : Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with a clean driving record. Experience in transporting heavy or large items (such as mattresses) is a plus.
Licensing : A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate state driving license. Must meet all local and state licensing requirements.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Time Management : Ability to manage schedules and ensure timely delivery and pickup.
