Job Description

Description We are hiring a FT Dental Assistant in Wasilla, preferably a Lead Assistant. We are open M-Fri and 1 Sat per month. Office hours are 8-5 Mon-Fri and 9-3:30 on Sat. ***This is not an entry level position and we are looking for experience. We practice general dentistry and do Invisalign, extractions, endo etc. Our Drs. are easy going, conservative in their tx planning and are available to our patients, even after hours. Must be able to work independently, at a fast pace, be team oriented and take excellent care of our patients. Assistants must be able to make temporaries, pack cord, use digital scanner etc. (we are willing to train for the scanner). We use Dentrix, Dexis, Itero. Pay range is $25-$35 DOE and education. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating the needs of the dentist.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the dental operatory, following infection control guidelines.
• Take and process dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
• Support team members, working collaboratively to deliver excellent care and service to all patients

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 1 year working as a chairside Dental Assistant in a fast-paced practice.
• Familiarity working with multiple Dentists is preferred. Aurora Dental Care
