Job Details We are on the hunt for a seasoned Desktop Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position, where you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of desktop environments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Ivanti, Microsoft SCCM, Windows 10, MS O365, Azure AD, and Lenovo ThinkPads. As a Desktop Deployment Specialist, you will:
1. Manage and maintain the Microsoft SCCM infrastructure, including system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
2. Deploy, manage, and support Windows 10 and MS O365 across the enterprise.
3. Leverage Azure AD for identity and access management.
4. Perform hardware and software upgrades on Lenovo ThinkPads.
5. Develop and implement deployment strategies for new technology rollouts.
6. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless and secure desktop experiences.
7. Document processes and procedures related to desktop deployment and management.
8. Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
9. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role customizing images for deployment
2. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
3. Proven experience with Ivanti, Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, or similar imaging technologies
4. Strong working knowledge of Windows 10, MS O365, Azure AD, and Lenovo ThinkPads.
5. Strong knowledge of desktop deployment strategies and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
9. Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies are highly desirable.
