We are seeking a skilled Die Repair Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Twinsburg. This is a hands-on role for a motivated professional who takes pride in repairing, maintaining, and improving casting and trim dies. The ideal candidate will have experience with die rebuilding, welding, and machining, and be eager to work in a collaborative environment while advancing their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies according to original specifications.
• Operate all machines and equipment used in the die repair process safely and efficiently.
• Receive instructions from Team Leader or Supervisor and follow procedures accurately.
• Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble dies using lift trucks, cranes, and die cleaning equipment.
• Build and replace segments, cores, and parts from blueprints using appropriate tools.
• Draw, polish, and grind die cavity surfaces to precise specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair all production tooling problems as needed.
• Perform welding duties in both the foundry and Die Repair Department.
• Maintain accurate work records, die work orders, and pictorials.
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and safe.
• Train new employees on die repair processes and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to draw, polish, and grind die cavity surfaces using required tools.
• Experience building and replacing die components from blueprints.
• Proficiency in welding within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform highly skilled tasks.
• Ability to train and mentor new team members.

Experience:

• Up to 2 years of training in die repair or a related field may be required.
• Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers are a plus but not required.

Education:

• Associates degree, trade or technical school, or journey person certificate preferred.
• Must be able to perform complex tasks and solve technical problems independently.
