Director of Finance | eCommerce SaaS, NY

Hybrid working (Soho, NY - 3 days in the office)

$160k - $200k + options + benefits

Talentedge are delighted to be partnering with a hyper-growth SaaS scaleup who provide cutting edge services to the online retail sector.

Working very closely with an experienced CFO, you will operate as the #2 in finance and play a crucial role in building a world-class finance function, whilst contributing tremendously to strategic company growth.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Continue to develop & build an automation-led tech stack
• Have complete ownership of US financial reporting and month end close
• Manage external consultants on tax filings
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition treatments
• Support CFO on FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis (financial and non-financial), as well as future fundraising activities
• Act as a true business partner cross functionally

Profile:

• CPA qualified with post qualified experience within a high-growth, VC backed SaaS business
• Strong technical accountant with an automation-led mindset
• Experience of supporting a CEO / Founder with corporate transactions
• Demonstrable experience of improving and automating financial processes and controls
• Established business partner who is confident in advising, challenging and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
• Able to work autonomously
