Job Description
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Director of Patient Services to join our dynamic home care agency team. Our home care agency is committed to providing quality in-home care services that make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
The Director of Patient Services will oversee the implementation and delivery of all our patient care services. This includes managing the nursing and caregiver staff, coordinating patient care with families and healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the excellence of our care standards and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our team of nurses and caregivers, promoting a culture of compassion, professionalism, and excellence.
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they meet both the clients' health needs and personal preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular staff training and development programs to enhance service delivery and patient care skills.
- Monitor and manage patient feedback to continuously improve care quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- Experience in Home Care preferred but not necessary
- Training skills
