Job Description

Position Title: Electrical Cable Assembly Technician

Wage: $20-$23 per hour based on experience

Shift: 1st 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Got experience in cable assembly or electrical wiring? Ready to take your skills to the next level with a company known for building large, custom control panels for heavy-duty equipment? This is your chance! You'll be hands-on, wiring and assembling electrical control panels and junction boxes from detailed blueprints and schematics—no two builds are the same!

Electrical Cable Assembly Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Wire and build complex control panels and subassemblies.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Drill, tap, and prep enclosures for components.
- Use hand tools like wire strippers, crimpers, and pliers with precision.
- Measure, cut, strip, label, and route wires and cables per schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble cable harnesses and integrate them into panel systems or junction boxes.
- Identify and correct wiring errors or discrepancies before final testing.
- Follow ESD-safe and quality control procedures while handling sensitive electrical components.

Electrical Cable Assembly Technician Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Education.
- Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.
- 2+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams. An understanding of electrical currents.
- Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Mechanical installation and electrical wiring for control panels and desks.
- Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels is a must.
