Electrical Design Engineer - Revit Exp Required Electrical Design Engineer
Position Overview The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various building projects. This role involves collaborating with architects and other engineers to create efficient, safe, and sustainable electrical designs that meet client needs and comply with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities - Develop electrical designs for building systems including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Utilize CAD and Revit software to create detailed design drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and industry standards in all designs
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project timelines and budgets
- Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting to solve design and implementation issues
- Prepare technical documentation and reports related to electrical systems design and modifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project management activities to track progress and manage resources
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the building systems sector
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit software for electrical design
- Strong understanding of power distribution and lighting design principles
- Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in engineering design
- Experience with project management practices and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
