Our client in Rockford, in the environmental services industry, seeks bright, motivated, and experienced professionals to join their team. They need an Electrical Design Engineer, an Electrical Controls Engineer, and an Electrical Designer. Below is the description for the Electrical Designer; however, there may be some overlap if you or anyone you know is interested.
Qualifications:
~ AAS in Electrical Design or equivalent combo of training/experience
~2-3+ years of experience creating electrical designs and control programs
~ AutoCAD Electrical 2020
~ Ideal experience creating/releasing electrical drawings of UL 508A-approved industrial control panels, part numbers, special parts, and P&ID drawings for orders
~ Electrical schematics and BOMS for panel assembly
~ Electrical section of O&M manuals
~ Internal/External client-facing experience with openness to some travel as needed
~ MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
~ Other preferred skills/knowledge include NFPA 70, NFPA 101, Vantage, Synergis Adept
Responsibilities:
Oversee and contribute to the preparation of technical drawings and documentation for customer approval.
Develop and release control panel schematics, part lists, and related diagrams for production.
Create BOMs and electrical content for manuals.
Make sure equipment meets design and performance requirements.
Process design updates through formal change management.
Source components and pricing from suppliers.
Provide technical support across departments and to clients.
