Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in commercial and multi-family projects, with a focus on design build methodologies and electrical systems. This role involves ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and leading teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee electrical construction projects from planning through execution and completion.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage team performance and provide leadership to project staff.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle contract negotiations and manage contractor relationships.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of work.
- Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management.
- Proven experience in commercial, multi-family, and industrial electrical construction.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience in design build project delivery methods.
- Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
- Strong risk management and compliance knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
