Emergency Medicine APP openings in Conway, SC

  • Located 10 miles from Myrtle Beach

  • Position Details:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Join a high-performing Emergency Medicine team offering immediate equity partnership and exceptional growth opportunities. the Emergency Group and Medical Center are expanding their emergency care services to meet increasing patient demand and will launch a state-of- the-art 12-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in 2026. This is a unique opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physicians to contribute to a community-focused, innovative healthcare environment in one of the fastest-growing counties in the U.S.
  • APPs will work 120 hours per month.
  • Main ED: 10-hour shifts, working alongside physician support.
  • FSED: Coverage as volume requires.
  • Daily Staffing: The ED is staffed with 4 physicians and 3 APPs each day.
  • Rotations between the main ED and FSED are expected, though exclusive FSED coverage may be considered.
  • Call Schedule: No call responsibilities are required for this position.
  • Shifts are structured to promote flexibility, ensuring a sustainable work-life balance.
  • Facilities and Resources:
  • Main ED: 42 beds with dedicated high-acuity, moderate, and less-acute zones.
  • FSED (Opening 2026): 12 beds with full lab, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound capabilities.
  • Technology: Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient charting.
  • Specialist Access: Closed ICU with intensivist support, surgicalist coverage, and a robust network of specialists.
  • Level of Care and Transfers:
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Over 50,000 annual ER visits
  • Low Transfer Rate: 2%; Admission Rate: 25%
  • Candidate Parameters:
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Emergency Medicine experience required.
