The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• One (1) year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience as an Advanced Provider required.
• Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
• Current IL state license is a plus.

The Practice

MacNeal Hospital - Berwyn, Illinois

• A community hospital with some academic overtones.
• MacNeal Hospital has its own FM/IM residency and EM residents from Loyola & UIC rotate here.
• Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Magnet-designated.
• 374-bed facility with a 26-bed Emergency Department.
• Annual volume of 55,000 with a 22% admit rate.
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation.
• All core sub-specialty backup available.
