As part of our commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking an experienced Encompass Administrator to manage and enhance our Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).

Job Summary:

The Encompass Administrator will be responsible for the administration, customization, and maintenance of the Encompass LOS platform. This role supports our lending operations by ensuring that the system meets the needs of the business, including compliance with industry regulations, system updates, user support, and workflow management. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Encompass and the mortgage lending process, with the ability to optimize processes and troubleshoot technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Manage all aspects of the Encompass LOS, including setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • User Support: Provide first-level support to loan officers, processors, underwriters, and other staff members, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Customization & Optimization: Customize and configure Encompass workflows, templates, and reports to streamline operations, ensuring the system supports efficient loan processing.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure that the system remains compliant with mortgage industry regulations, updating settings and configurations as needed to align with regulatory changes.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and provide training for staff on new features and system updates, and maintain system documentation, including process workflows and user guides.
  • System Updates & Upgrades: Manage system upgrades and releases, ensuring seamless transition and integration of new features and functionalities.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Manage data integrity, including data migrations, imports/exports, and ensure that reporting capabilities meet business needs.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Integration: Oversee the integration of third-party systems and services with Encompass to enhance functionality and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to improve overall efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Security & User Access: Manage user permissions, access controls, and security settings to safeguard sensitive loan data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience administering Encompass LOS in a mortgage lending environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Encompass platform, including system configuration, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Mortgage Industry Knowledge: Understanding of mortgage processes, from origination to closing, and regulatory requirements impacting the industry.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train users and explain technical details to non-technical team members.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring system support meets business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Encompass Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with mortgage lending software integrations and API management.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other database management tools.
