As an ESL Teacher with us, you will work in a collaborative, innovative environment, delivering specialized instruction to English Language Learners (ELL) in line with state and school requirements. You'll help foster a positive learning environment while driving results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement instructional plans for ELL students.
• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support effective learning.
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support diverse learners.
• Regularly assess and track student progress to modify strategies for continued language development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate English language development across content areas.

Requirements

Must hold a valid Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement.

Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or in a related role.

Experience working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; a master's degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus!
