We’re looking to bring on an Environmental Consultant —an early career professional ready to grow alongside a team that values curiosity, hard work, and collaborative problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
This role offers hands-on exposure to fieldwork, environmental compliance, reporting, and project support. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced team members and support a variety of client projects.
- Field Work : Conduct environmental sampling, inspections, and monitoring (groundwater, well water, surface water, etc.)
- Project Support : Assist in executing baseline programs and compliance plans
- Report Writing : Draft environmental reports, inspection memos, and permit submittals
- Team Collaboration : Coordinate with subcontractors and internal staff to complete deliverables
- Field Oversight : Participate in field programs including construction, drilling, reclamation, or environmental monitoring
- Mapping and Analysis : Use CAD and/or GIS (if experienced) for data review and site planning
What You Bring
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience : 0–5 years of relevant experience (internships, technician roles, or previous consulting work preferred, experience in hydrogeology/hydrology a strong plus)
- Bonus Skills : CAD and GIS experience is not required, but is a strong plus
- Work Style : Strong writing skills, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or in teams
- Travel : Willingness to travel up to 3 days per week, including overnight trips
- Field Ready : Comfortable driving to remote sites, hiking rough terrain, and navigating changing weather
- Location : Must reside in Northern Nevada or be willing to relocate upon hire
