We are excited to invite a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Medical Scribe to enhance our clinical operations. In this pivotal role, you will closely collaborate with healthcare professionals to document patient encounters in real time, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical records that significantly contribute to patient care and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document patient history, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans during live clinical visits with precision.
  • Transcribe verbal notes and meticulously update electronic health records (EHR).
  • Review and edit medical documents to ensure completeness and consistency.
  • Assist in coding and billing documentation under provider supervision.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to enhance documentation processes.
  • Track and manage patient follow-ups, referrals, and test results efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field preferred).
  • Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and a typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and discreetly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to patient privacy and professional ethics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding is an advantage.
  • Bilingual fluency (e.g., Spanish-English) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with remote scribing platforms or telehealth workflows.
