Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform essential cleaning activities like dusting, mopping, and trash collection.
• Handle minor repairs, such as fixing broken locks and patching walls.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Install appliances and equipment with precision.
• Conduct maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting ventilation systems.
• Collaborate with other professionals during renovations and report issues to the maintenance manager.
• Ensure safety systems, like fire alarms, are fully operational.
• Assist in preparing job estimates as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.

Working Conditions

This position involves working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors, near stationary and moving aircraft. You will:

• Lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Read and comprehend instructions and technical manuals.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain physical stamina and dexterity for various tasks.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A High School diploma or GED, along with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• A valid state driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the country.
• Prior facility maintenance experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
