Job Description
North Carolina Outward Bound School's Fellowship for BIPOC Staff is a 6-month working fellowship position for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color looking to start or further a career in the Outdoor Education industry. The organizational goal of the Fellowship is to increase diversity in the outdoor professional community at large by hiring staff with historically excluded identities and providing career-building employment coupled with an opportunity for relationship building with other BIPOC outdoor professionals.
This Fellowship is done on a given "track" depending on each candidates qualifications and career goals. The potential tracks are:
- Field Instructor Track
- Logistics Department Track
- Support/Administrative Track
This Fellowship is an "add-on" to your hired role, this is not sole working position. Please familiarize yourself with the Assistant Instructor, Logistics Coordinator or any of our other open positions we currently have open.
