The Corporate Accounting Manager provides leadership and guidance in the financial planning, cash management forecast process and in the preparation of ad hoc analysis for hospitality properties. Responsibilities:

• Supports efforts in the monthly financial statement preparation and reviews with the hospitality management team.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the financial planning, cash management forecast process and in the preparation of ad hoc analysis for full-service hospitality properties.
• Ensure financial statements are in compliance with Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry standards, including compliance with the companys policies and procedures.
• Provide technical accounting support and decision making, especially in the areas of daily revenue reporting, cash management, reserves and accruals.
• Prepare account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries and other items associated with the month-end closing process.
• Ensure that all ledgers and reports are closed and prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare on a monthly basis financial statements including the Balance Sheet, P&L;, Statement of Cash Flow and Forecasted Cash Flow.
• Provide additional analysis and financial support for standard and ad hoc reporting requirements as directed by hospitality management.
• Prepare the analysis and reporting of actual operating performance with operating plan and prior year results to provide information to allow management to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
• Analyze daily and monthly results and communicate risks and opportunities to management for decision making.
• Prepare all required tax filings as it relates to Sales, Lodging & Occupancy Taxes.

Looking for:

• Experienced financial professional with a BSBA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with hotel systems is preferred.
• M3 - Hospitality Accounting Software is preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Able to solve problems and make sound business decisions.
