Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of fire safety protocols and the ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and smoke control systems.
• Conduct fire safety assessments and risk analysis to determine compliance with local, state, and national codes.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure all fire protection designs meet LEED and sustainable design principles.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and proposals as part of project management duties.
• Stay updated with the latest fire safety technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) may be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software for designing MEP systems.
• Experience in fire protection system design and plumbing.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
