Position Objective

The Fleet Rental Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality, efficient support to our customers. In this role, you will establish and maintain strong customer relationships, deliver exceptional service, and help drive company growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proven record of sales or customer service success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Use approved sales and service techniques to pre-qualify potential customers.

Clearly communicate Barco's service offerings, rental options, and agreements.

Review and explain rental details, costs, and customer responsibilities.

Complete customer onboarding packets for management approval.

Collect all necessary information to prepare accurate rental agreements.

Answer phone calls and emails in a professional, friendly manner.

Assist customers with inquiries, rental needs, or service issues.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of customer accounts.

Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and solution-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Highly organized with excellent time management.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to company needs.

Qualifications

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience : Minimum 1+ years in customer service. Experience in auto, truck, or equipment rental is a plus.
  • Languages : English fluency required.
  • Requirements : Must successfully complete a background check and MVR.

Position Details

  • Available Schedules: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
  • Wage Range : $23.00 – $26.00/hr DOE
