Job Description

Family in Coral Gables is looking to hire a full-time career nanny for their 2 ½ year old daughter. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30/8am to 5/6pm. Flexibility to travel occasionally with the family. Their daughter attends school from 8:30am to 11:30am and nanny would be responsible for drop off and pick up.Responsibilities include general care and supervision, planning and engaging in fun educational activities, accompany to classes, establishing routines etc.

The ideal candidate is responsible, nurturing, energetic and has a genuine love for children.

Start Date : ASAP

Job Duties :

• Full responsibility for overall childcare and all activities relating to the well-being of the child
• Proper grooming and hygiene, giving baths, dressing etc.
• Plan and engage the child in various activities for overall growth and development; reading, writing, arts & craft, singing, playtime, other age-appropriate activities. Family would prefer no screen time.
• Pick up and drop off from school
• Accompany to swimming classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays. Swim instructor comes to the home) and other activities.
• Organize and follow a daily schedule
• Facilitate nap time
• Prepare healthy, nutritional meals and ensure the child is well fed.
• Cleaning relating to the child; Organizing the child's room/ play areas, wardrobe and personal items.
• All other childcare related duties.

Job requirements :

• Minimum 5 years nanny experience working with infants. History of long-term commitments
• Verifiable references
• Childhood education background
• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Responsible, honest, creative, loving & caring
• Occasional travel with the family

Compensation & Benefits : $30 to $35 per hour. PTO, sick days, Other benefits TBD.
